Foo Fighters - Time Like These - (Live Earth, subtitulos español)

Times Like These es el segundo single extraído del álbum One by One de los Foo Fighters, editado el día de reyes de 2003. La canción se caracteriza por poseer el irregular tempo de 7/4, además de tener referencias a Hüsker Dü es uno de sus versos (I'm a new day rising). Al enterarse Dave Grohl de que George W. Bush había utilizado esta canción para su campaña electoral de 2004, el grupo se involucró políticamente en favor de la campaña de su rival, John Kerry. Esta canción es parte de la banda sonora de la película American Pie 3.


Foo Fighters es una banda de origen estadounidense creada en el año 1994 por Dave Grohl, ex-baterista de Nirvana y Scream.
La banda ha conseguido algunos éxitos que le han merecido reconocimiento mundial, tales como "Big Me", "This is a Call","My Hero", "Everlong", "Monkey Wrench", "Learn to Fly", "Wheels", "All My Life", "Times Like These", "Best of You", "D.O.A.", "No Way Back", "Rope", "Walk" "Let it Die" o "The Pretender" que alcanzó el puesto número uno en los Hot Modern Rock Tracks el sábado 1 de septiembre del 2007 y se mantuvo así durante dieciocho semanas consecutivas.

Please es el primer single interpretado por Robin Gib sin habela compuesto el mismo, lo que marca un echo muy particular.
También marca la última colaboración entre Robin y su difunto gemelo Maurice. Las letras son trágicamente asociativa con la pérdida de Maurice (casualmente). Es hermoso y desgarrador.
